Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Sunday Clean (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By using our website or booking our services, you agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before proceeding.

 

1. Services Provided

Sunday Clean connects clients with professional cleaners to deliver premium residential cleaning services, including regular cleans and spring cleans.

a. Regular Clean: Recurring weekly or fortnightly cleaning tailored to your needs.
b. Spring Clean: A once-off deep cleaning service for a thorough refresh of your home.

All services are subject to availability and must be booked in advance.

 

2. Client Responsibilities

By booking a service, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information about your home and cleaning requirements.

  • Ensure safe access to your home for the cleaner, including clear instructions for entry.

  • Secure valuables and fragile items before the scheduled cleaning.

  • Notify us promptly of any issues or concerns.

 

3. Payment Terms

  • All bookings must be secured directly with your nominated cleaner.

  • Payments are processed between you and your nominated cleaner directly. Payment must be made to your cleaner three (3) days after receiving invoice. 

  • Additional charges may apply for services outside the agreed scope or for cancellations without adequate notice (see Section 4).

 

4. Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy

  • Regular Cleans: Cancellations or rescheduling must be requested at least 48 hours before the appointment.

  • Spring Cleans: Cancellations or rescheduling must be requested at least 72 hours before the appointment.

  • Late cancellations or no-shows may result in a cancellation fee equal to up to 50% of the service cost.

 

5. Cleaners

  • We carefully select and vet all cleaners to ensure a high-quality service.

  • While we strive to provide consistent cleaners for regular services, substitutions may occur due to availability.

  • Cleaners operate as independent contractors; Sunday Clean facilitates the connection between clients and cleaners.

 

6. Liability

  • While we take every precaution to deliver excellent service, we are not liable for:

    • Damage to fragile or valuable items not disclosed before the service.

    • Incomplete services due to inaccurate information or unsafe conditions.

  • In the unlikely event of a complaint, you must notify us within 24 hours of the service.

 

7. Service Limitations

Our cleaners are not responsible for:

  • Moving heavy furniture or items.

  • Cleaning areas deemed unsafe or inaccessible.

  • Handling biohazards, mold remediation, or other hazardous materials.

 

8. Privacy

We respect your privacy and handle personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

 

9. Changes to Terms

Sunday Clean reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will take effect immediately upon posting to our website.

10. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Any disputes will be resolved in accordance with these laws.
